Cardiac Catheterization
This is a diagnostic invasive procedure using catheters placed into the heart through a vein and/or artery. It provides pictures of the heart and arteries and measurements of the pressures in the heart. The purpose of this procedure is to obtain blood samples from the heart, detect abnormalities, and determine intracardiac pressure.
