Cerebrovascular Disease
A disease that results in damage to the blood vessels in the brain, leading to the narrowing of arteries and affecting the supply and flow of blood. A common cerebrovascular disease is atherosclerosis, where blood vessels become blocked because of the formation of fatty deposits (plaque), which results in blood vessels leaking, breaking, bursting, or becoming weak, resulting in a stroke.
