Omega-3 Fats
These are polyunsatured fats primarily found in the oil of cold water fish and in some plants (flax and flaxseed) and nuts. Fish, such as sardines, salmon, mackerel, tuna, herring, and trout are good sources of omega-3 fat. These fats may help prevent blood clots and plaques from forming in the walls of arteries.
